Dr. Maher Almasri

Qualifications: DDS MSc PhD FADFE

Since graduating from the University of Damascus in 1995, Dr Almasri pursued his career in Oral Surgery, undertaking a number of clinical and academic positions in Syria, Germany and UK. He qualified with a Masters degree from the University of London in 2003 and ITI scholarship award for Implant Dentistry training in 2004 in Stuttgart, followed by a PhD in Bone Regeneration and Tissue Engineering from Queen Mary’s, University of London.

Dr Almasri has also held a lecturing position in Oral Surgery in London. Dr Almasri is actively involved in the International Association for Dental Research (IADR); he is a member of the advising committee for the IADR Development Programme and President of the Syrian Section.
